Peter Quantock




M.A. candidate in Anthropology, University of Denver.
B.A. in Ancient Studies, University of Maryland Baltimore County. (2007)


Peter received his Bachelor’s degree in Classics at the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) in 2007.  He attended archaeological field schools in both Classical Archaeology in Spain and Historical Archaeology in Maryland.  He worked as an assistant archaeologist for Gibb Archaeological Consulting in Annapolis, Maryland.  He is also a team member of the Port Tobacco Archaeology Project in south central Charles County, Maryland.  He is currently a graduate student in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Denver.  His research interests vary but are focused in the Chesapeake area and on the application of geophysical instruments in the non-invasive exploration of archaeological sites.
